A competition spiced with fun and fellowship
According to the comments received, those attending the Provincial Games in Regina July 6-8 enjoyed a good time. Athletes and non-participating guests from eight Saskatchewan districts attended the games activities and social events including the opening ceremonies, banquet and closing ceremonies. Entertainment included dance and musical entertainment by Kawacatoose First Nation, and Dennis Ficor. Honorary Chair George Reed illustrated the admirable type of competitive attitude 55+ people aspire to.
The Host Committee and many volunteers deserve unlimited thanks for their selfless giving of time and talent. Sponsors’ generosity was awesome.
There were 572 registered athletes and 85 non-participating registered guests.
