Prairie Central District: President - Gord Taylor 567-2818 midways@sasktel.net
  Secretary - Donna Hall 729-4220 lhall@accesscomm.ca

All sanctioned SSFA events held in the district are funded with the expectation that participants will become members ($6.00) and take an active role in the development of a Games spirit and distict wide participation in the Provincial and National 55+ Games. Programs and services promoted by the district are designed to meet the needs and interests of people in the district.

In 2010 our district had participants in all Provincial game events except Slo-pitch, table tennis, tennis and lawn bowling.  Our goal for the 2012 games in Saskatoon is to have representation in all events.  In order to do this we need the help of all seniors in our district.  Volunteer to host a clinic or a playoff in any of the events offered at the games.

Newsletters are sent out quarterly to all members.. if you wish to receive a newsletter email lhall@accesscomm.ca

We offer bridge clinics to any community wishing to learn the game or to upgrade their skills.

Sask. Senior Fitness Association held its Provincial 55+ Games in Regina July 6-8.  The Prairie Central District sent 60 participants competing in 5-pin bowling, bank shuffleboard, contract bridge, cribbage, Kaiser, 8=ball, snooker, track & field, whist and golf.

From the Provincial Games our district had 12 members make the trip to Brockwille, Ontario to participate in the Canada 55+ Games.  We are very proud of our Track and Field star, Joe Koza of Imperial who won 4 Gold medals.
