The Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association, Inc., is holding its Annual General Meeting at the Highland Curling Club, 348 Broad Street in Regina, on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.

2012 SSFA DISTRICT GAMES

The SSFA Provincial Board passed a motion that effective immediately, people age 50 to 54 are eligible to compete in the SSFA district games. They are not eligible to advance to the Provincial Games in 2012 but will be able to advance to the Provincial Games in 2014. They are not eligible to compete at the Canada 55+ Games. If you wish to register to participate in the district games, contact your district representative for information regarding membership fees and schedule of events. SSFA 55+ Provincial Games

SSFA 55+ Provincial Games provide an opportunity for people over 55 to be active. The participants showcase the health benefits of being involved in sport and competition to be your best – at any age. The events and rules for the games held at the 55+ Provincial Games are available at SSFA 55+ GAMES.

We encourage you to be part of this celebration in Saskatoon, July 3, 4 & 5, 2012.

Sydney, Nova Scotia site for 2012 Games

Participants who are interested in challenging their skills in another friendly competition, may compete at the next level of competition which is the Canada 55+ Games to be held in Sydney, Nova Scotia, August 29 to September 1, 2012. Registration will commence on August 28th. See CANADA 55+ GAMES.
